Cannabis is continuing to normalize in Nevada with the recent passing of AB132, an act that will prohibit companies from denying employment if marijuana is detected in a screening test. Effective as early of 2020, Nevadans will be able to enjoy legal marijuana without having to worry about it effecting their employment opportunities.

“As our legal cannabis industry continues to flourish, it’s important to ensure that the door of economic opportunity remains open for all Nevadans. That’s why I was proud to sign AB132 into law, which contains common-sense exceptions for public safety and transportation professionals.” – Governor Steve Sisolak

One small step for cannabis and one giant leap for mankind. With new laws reflecting the normalization of cannabis, more people can feel at ease about the once highly stigmatized plant.
